Meropenem for injection

Meropenem is a white to pale yellow powder. Meropenem is a synthetic broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic. The bactericidal activity of Meropenem result from the inhibition of cell wall synthesis. It is a active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. 

It is used for adults and children in the treatment of infections by the bacteria sensitive to meropenem including pneumonia (community-acquired pneumonia), urinary-tract infection, gynecologic infections (as, endometritis and pelvic inflammatory disease), skin and soft tissue infections, meningitis, septicemia. 

Storage: The drug should be stored at an airtight, cool and dry place and protected form light (temperature not exceed 25D.C).
